Another Newb! (Virginia)

Hi, I'm Dave, and I'm a Newb :)

I live in Virginia (Hampton Roads) and I have a '66 Fastback I'm working on. I've actually had the car since 2001; I bought it in California (I'm Military). 2 or three years ago I moved it out of the the elements and into the garage where I commenced a tear down. I'm working on an EF & T5 swap but I keep getting sidetracked with other vehicle projects :hs so I am selling those so I can concentrate on the fastback. I'm interested in chatting with some locals out there just to see what's going on; maybe get some ideas.

Thank you!! I have some in the A-pillars on both sides which may have been there when I bought it, but didn't rear it's ugly head until moving to the east coast. :rant Other than that, its clean :yah I purchased it in Fresno; paid $8,500 for it. It's a 4V A-code and based on the casting dates it appears to be the original engine - minus the wrong Autolite 4100 carb. It's a 1.12 venturi for the 390. It's all out of the car now anyway making room for the EFI from a '90. I've got room to hold on to the 289 so I guess I'll do that.

Welcome to the fix. Looks like a nice solids car to start. We love pictures and build threads.
