Another roller perch design?

The bearings are pressed into a notch in the sleeve and held in with snap rings. The seller claims they don't bind like "the flanged or swedged type". I'm sort of curious if there is really any benefit to this design versus others? I can't really imagine a situation where any roller perch would 'bind'?

I'm not to crazy about the groove in the shaft for the snap ring, bit of a potential crack start point. However, if the shaft is strong enough for the loads encountered, shouldn't be an issue.

I'd rather see the O.D. tube longer with a internal clip used on that.

I've used more than one set of these, and never had a problem, but I've never exposed them to the rigors, or added stress that a track car is subjected to.
