anybody have experience with coni-seal brand parts?

I just installed some of their wheel cylinders on my Buick ans was impressed to see the product was made in the USA . Wow . I bought them at O'Reilly , sold under their house Masterpro brand . Same thing on the master cylinder I purchased .

Really? Good to know, seeing as I work at O'reilly's now (formerly Kragen). Not all of their stuff is made in the US, but it's good to know some is. It's really hard to find US-made brake hydraulics now, and all the chinese wc's have metric bleeder screws on them :-|

But yes, I've had good luck with the Coni-Seal stuff I've been selling to my customers (shops as well, not just retail).

Are you sure you didn't just get an old relabeled coni-seal box? I checked out some of my wc stock earlier and found that most of the new stickers said 'made in China.' Oddly enough, some of the fairly new Brake Best boxes with new labels on them have 'made in US' on the original sticker.

+1 on that.
For the last 7 years (up til Nov 08), I worked for the largest brake manufacturer in the world in the aftermarket sales division. To the best of my knowledge, Coni-seal is sourced from China.
As far as their quality situation, I haven't heard enough about them to come to any conclusions.
Just "being from China" doesn't necessarily condemn parts anymore.....

I just looked at the BrakeBest...made by Coniseal...wheel cylinder I just bought from work and the box does say MADE IN USA .

I just ordered two from my warehouse for a '66. One was US (relabeled with a China sticker), one was Chinese. *shrug*
