Anyone else drive their Stang to work today?

The rains finally stopped yesterday and things cleared up yesterday afternoon. It was a tad cool this morning, 44 degrees when I left the house this morning, but supposed to be low 70's on the way home this afternoon. Always nice to get some thumbs up and waves in the morning. One very nice older lady pulled up along side me and rolled down her passenger window and said "Nice Car", "I think I had one like that back when they were NEW cars".

I still drove to work with the Drivers side window rolled down... :gs
 
Yep, beautiful day here also and after dropping the teenager off at school I switched vehicles and drove the '66 to the office.
 
Well...I would have but we still don't have it running yet.

O'Reilly's surprised us and called yesterday to say the new torque converter was in after only two days wait. Hoping to have it running this afternoon so that I can drive it some this weekend if all goes well.
 
I brought the Fox... does that count?

Planning a run to MU to pick up some odds and ends for the 66 Coupe project, not quite a vert day around here...
 
No work today...it's set up day for a swap meet in Forth Worth and I'm going shopping before the vendors buy all of each others junk and jack up the price.
Won't drive the Mustang either, parts of it might end up missing.
 
I drive mine every chance I get. Just got home from Wisconsin and Illinois mid-day. swapped out the company car for the Stang and took my wife to work, picked up the kids from school and picked up the wife after work and drove her to the store to get some things for dinner. I drive mine around town so much nobody seams to notice it anymore!
 
I don't believe any of you guys. Let's see some pics. Then again how would we know your pic was taken today? oh well.......

well Craig, can't prove it was today but here are a few pic's picking up the boys at school this afternoon. I work from home or travel so this was my job today!

Gasket set came in today so car should be put back together tomorrow. Don't know what's gonna happen after that. I'll probably spend the next two weeks just looking at it and talking to it. I see me acting out the Cage/Eleanor scene in Gone in 60 Seconds.
 
Good luck, hope it works out for you. You sure do deserve a break with the car!
 
I am just glad not everyone on the site lives in the same town and driving their cars to work on the same day...that would be too much :gobp on one freeway.
