Anyone have experience with these headers?

I'm looking to ditch my hedmen elite long tube headers soon in exchange for a shorty style header. ever since the front end was lowered a year or so back speed bumps have become my arch enemy, and it's become too much of a headache for a car driven almost every day. the engine absolutely does not warrant the use of long tubes, it was very tamely rebuilt as a completely rollerized engine with the same block and heads. built for longevity and definitely not for power. I'm really not sure why i got long tubes in the first place but i imagine I was influenced by all the "long tubes will give you 3.14 more horsepower" posts.

Anyhow, does anyone have any experience with this set? Quality? Fit? Was any consideration givne to adequate clearance between flange bolts and the tubes? I cannot tell you what a pita the hedmens were to take on and off, half the bolts could not be completely removed without hitting the tubes, so you had to install them in a certain order, just really annoying.

Also open to any recommendations. My car is a 68, C4, PS.

I think you'd get better performance with the Hedman 88408 headers. You'd save some $$$ too.

I don't like how the #4 and #8 tubes merge with the collector on the Ford headers you posted.
