Anyone notice strange lights in the sky last night?

OK, before the comedians jump all over this did any of you guys see or hear of some weird glowing streaks of light in the sky? Here, it was a very clear night and I noticed what appeared to me to be vertical kinda glowing streaks in the Northwest sky. It was like they were glowing something like the "northern lights" but were only one color and in a straight line. At first I was thinking a reflection but after looking at them over an hour, they stayed with the stars. I also took a look with the night vision and they did not appear to be any cloud (they would have moved if they were). Also through the NV it also appeared they were a little more out there, and not at the same level as what clouds present in the Southern sky. I dunno, but this was weird.

You're not painting without wearing a mask again are you?
 
Ugh........................ what's that got to do with it?
 
I did read something last week about this big solar flare thing happening and other goings on that was supposed to cause the Northern Light effect to be seen in other areas. I suppose that is what you might have seen. I'm still thinking paint or welding fumes might be playing as role as well.
 
Damn that video is scary. And there are so many more idiots out there like this. What's worse is that she votes and gets her new from Fox. :censored

Heck, I know I'm stupid, I also have the guts to admit it. Maybe I'll blame this one on on the dog, if it hadn't had to take a leak, I'd never seen the lights.

Looking around the web I found this photo, looks almost exactly like what I seen, but there were only a couple of lines.

Some one said they did yesterday? It's prob the gov over at area 51 trying to figure out how to fly spacecraft lol

As for the sprinkler lady she needs to step down from her soap box and quite the shrooms!
