i am almost ready to install my new 4 whl disc brakes! today i had some "me" time in the shop & painted all my brackets, the new booster assembly & put epoxy primer on the new calipers & will paint those in the next few days. all i lack i picking a m/c. ultrastang was nice enough to give me some info on different m/c's for 4 whl disc & i really like the 95 exploder . it looks identical to the sn-95 v-6, has a 1 1/16" bore but the ports are on the drivers side negating the need to fab lines that cross under the unit. just curious if anyone here has used this one & what your thoughts are.

The SVO MC is cheaper, but its not the plastic-reservoir type. The ports are on the engine side, though.

the SVO/MK VII master cyl is a little longer than the others & i've heard some people have clearance issues when using a factory booster. if it will fit, i'll probably use that one as it looks more period correct on the car. heres some pics of the freshly painted brackets , booster & one of the calipers i shot today. the black is a special mix i came up with that is flattened 20% to perfectly match powdercoated parts. i use it on the old harley davidsons that have parts too pitted up to powdercoat & need filler work etc.

JB weld works great to fill pits when powder coating, not quite as easy as bondo to work but will def. hold up to the oven!
