Anyone seen one of these before?

my brother-in-law had one. It was a flat head straight six. It cracked a head so we put a Buick V6 in it using advance adapters motor mounts and trans adapter. It had really really low gears and was full time 4x4 but it would go through anything!

Not only I have I seen them before, but the last one I saw was THE coolest I've ever seen. It was on a TV show or in an online video and was actually restomod'd by Jeep (Chrysler/Fiat...whoever the hell they go by now!). They came in two different wheelbase lengths. Well it appears that one of them is the same wheelbase and track width as, IIRC, a 90's era Cherokee. They took the entire frame/drivetrain and put it under the JFC, keeping the interior and exterior pretty much stock looking. That thing was UBER cool!!

If I can find it I'll post it here.

1958 Jeep FC170 on tracks.

If you look around a bit, you should be able to find a video of Jay Leno driving one on the beach.

Usually twice a year, one shows up on my local Craigslist, but it is an abomination, a FC cab/box on a IH Scout chassis.. (ew)

IIRC it was one of Leno's " Jay Leno's Garage" videos. He has a Youtube channel where he has posted them all. I watched the video when I ran across it last year sometime. Leno ran the snot out of that thing!!
