Anyone used this radio delete gauge pod in their 67-68?

Since I have an aftermarket headunit incorporated into my center console, my stock radio isnt being used. i saw someones 68 a while ago with 3 small gauges there instead of the stock radio and i thought it was the coolest idea ever. although i think that guy made his own face plate to house the gauges. i cant find the pics now.

anyways im ordering some miscellaneous things for the car soon and came across this radio delete gauge pod. Has anyone out there used this? how does it fit? It looks pretty nifty imo

I like it. But you have to be carefull what gauge you put in the far right location. Anything with a mechanical hook up may require cutting the dash. My volts gauge just snuck in without modifying it. I was a little disapointed witht he quality when it was delivered. Its a very thin (read cheap) piece of plastic, but once the gauges were installed, it stiffined up pretty good.
