Anyone using the Mustang Steve clutch cable?

Wanted to go hydraulic but I want to use the mustangsteve power brake booster kit, to put power to my 64.5's brakes. If I use his kit, the booster blocks where the hydraulic clutch MC mounts. I had devised a design for mounting the MC in another location but don't feel like trial and error monkey work so I'm going to use the cable.
What I am trying to find out is if the adjustable firewall mount is needed, or if the adjustable cable will do the trick. I can't see the extreme need for the adjuster at the firewall but figured someone here might have some good input.

Shoot Mustang Steve an email; he has been very helpful to me. I ordered the adjustable one just for the fact that it's being used in a non standard application and extra adjustability couldn't hurt. I have yet to install it, so I can't be much help there. I did notice that you have to clearance the cowl floor a bit for it to work, which I didn't originally know, but doubt it's a big deal.

I was looking around and there is a drop in adjuster for late model mustangs that I imagine I could get and use if I really needed to. I'd guess if all else the hole in his bracket might need to be enlarged a tad to fit it. I just hate paying extra for an adjuster I might not need, and with 3" of adjustment on the cable I can't see why I really would need more.

Iam using Steve's kit on my 1967 vert. I bought the kit with the firewall micro adjuster. It works great, and too me the firewall adjuster, gives the cable a nice solid mounting point before it enters the firewall. Also it's nice being able to adjust the cable with out crawling under the car. Steve was very helpful, shoot him a e-mail. -Mark
