Anyone using Water/Methanol Injection - Pump mounting question

As part of my new engine build I have decided to use Water/MEthanol Injection to cool the intake charge, make more power and have a safer tune. I am finding it difficult to find a place to mount the pump in the engine compartment and was wondering what others have done. I am thinking of mounting it under the fender but have the bottle in the engine compartment. If I did this I would find some kind of metal box to protect it from road debris. I am not to worried about moisture since I don't think I will drive the car in the rain, at least I haven't so far. Do you guys think there would be a problem mounting it there? Am I overlooking something becasue it seems like too easy of a solution........

off topic here, but do you have a flow switch in your system?
that is, something to alert you if the pump has quit working or you've got a restriction in the system?
i've heard of people blowing motors because of this.

I don't know if a flow alert switch is the same as a low fluid level light but I have one of those I will be wiring in. I have not hears of a flow alert switch but sounds like it would be useful. I'll have to look for some info on it. I am using a Snow Performance Stage 2 kit and it does not say anything about fail safe switches. Is that an option on another brand?

actually i think Snow came out with them once this problem was identified.
it would be different than the level switch because you could have an good level and still have no flow.

I foud it on their website as an addition to the kit. It looks likt it may be a good $100 investment. I don't plan on an aggressive tune so it could be overkill. I'll give my tuner a call before buying one. Thanks for the heads up. :wor
