Though I've never been a real Apple geek, it is a big shame to lose such an important figure in the industry.

Politcally correct?? - Hell no.
Too soon?? - Maybe
Funny?? - :roll

Nick,

That damn near made me fall outta my chair :yah

Yes I saw the breaking news a few hours ago. As Craig said "important figure in the industry"was lost today.

But dodgestang OMG way too funny, just try posting that at the "other" place. :roll

Just a thought

Did anybody try turning Steve Jobs off and then back on again? That usually works.

I think that will only work with Bill Gates.

Sad news.

I have become a recent apple convert and it's really impressive to see what a vision along with determination can achieve.

Sad to hear that he has passed, but I have never been interested in Apple product s. I like open architecture products and Apple is completely against that mindset.

I heard a bit of his Stanford commencement speech in 2005 on the radio today, where he said:

"Your time is limited; don't waste it living someone else's life."

Wise words.

Another stolen one liner

"When you die, you see your life go by in a flash, except for Steve Jobs, Apple doesn't support flash."
