Talk about a laid back job, hopefully monday will get the ball rolling, Friday (first day) was brutal cold--20+ mph winds--they hired another salesman and he also started friday, they told us basically just drive anything to get to know the product--we drove a $38,000 escape that had nearly option available--except hybrid--it had eco boost--great running, but the neat option was the parking assist, that is way cool, you gotta try it if you get the chance. I drove a 2013 5.0 gt mustang 6 speed, I think I scared the shit out of the other salesman! I have to get registered with ford monday and do some testing and of course send out contact letters but back to the original question--no sales yet but I have a pretty good chance to sell a 2008 edge to a guy I have known for years who just stopped in by chance. I have had several 1/2 hour bullshit sessions with walk-ins. I was talking to a guy yesterday around noon and when he left a lady salesman who was sitting nearby have you known him a long time ? I looked at her anf laughed and replied "I have never met that gentleman before in my life" she just shook her head and smiled and said she wished she could talk to people like that. I will do fine talking until politics pop up----
