OMG!!!! Hell, if he bought them, I'd give him my window sticker, then de-friend him. Frank,
did you post this on VMF? Can you imagine how many droolers there would be?

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

If I was in the market for some California Black plates that is a nice letter number combo. According to the Marti report my coupe was a dealers car and not sold until the end of the model year. My uncles Mustang was the same thing and his letters were "WEM". fd

FD, what is it on the Marti report that says yours was a dealers car? My '67 was made in December but not sold til Sept, '67. I've always wondered about that 9 month gap.

Frank

There is nothing on my Marti about that Frank. I am going to claim CRS. I have had my report almost 8 years now. I am also only looking at the scanned image, I would have to look for my packet to find the original document. I may have asked Kevin about the sold date or something like that. I did not just make it up, someone told me or I read it somewhere. My build date was 9/19/66 and was not sold until 9/15/67. It went to Dunton Ford in Santa Ana CA. fd

I'm sorry if it sounded like I was quizzing you (I wasn't). My situation is nearly the same as yours, even the sale date was within a few days, if not the same. My car's dealership was San Jose Ford Sales.

Frank
