Baaah, stupid weather cancelled my flight (s)

Between the ice, snow and 4' drifts, they canceled all (jet) flights out of Manhappy today. Got up this am at 4, on the road by 5, have to plow through 3-4' drifts to make it to the highway. Get to the airport at 6:30 and finally at 11:30am they cancel the first flight out and all the rest for the day. The runway crew just couldn't keep it clean long enough to let a jet land safely. Prop planes, no problem, but they weren't going where I needed to go.

Was heading down to El Paso to measure all our locations for millwork, I guess it will have to wait!

Or, do you mean the farmer hadn't harvested his crops yet, so the "airport" wasn't open? :lol
 
Yes, believe it or not Manhattan (Manhappy) has an airport that American Airlines flies jets into and out of!
 
American Airlines "Kansas Connection". That jet sound is a recording....

well at least yer stuck at home, I'm stuck way up here in Mini-soh-ta... in the frozen Tundra. Was supposed to drive to Wisconsin but Madison got 17" of snow and driftin' like heck. Burrr it's cold up here! Why on earth do people live here?

This am it was 0, damn truck won't start...I knew I should've replaced those glow plugs when it was warm :eek:mg
