I sent off my vent window frames to CA to have Craig's plater do them. Craig received them, dropped them off, picked them up and return shipped them for me. I also forgot to remove one of the stainless window guides and he popped it off for me before dropping it at the platers. Turnaround including shipping was less than a month. They turned out great, and one of the best moves I made with dumping repro parts to go with original. Given the price of the repro's ... don't do it. Take the time to get original's replated. I have another topic on the fit, and the comparison between original and repro isn't even close.

Original is usually best whenever possible. At least you know it fit when you took it off!

I'll tell you, I don't know Craig personally...thank goodness...as a mankini image is burned on my brain, but he seems to be quite a standup guy.

How much did his plater charge you?

It was $300 for the pair. My local plater wanted $300 each.

Cool, I might have to contact Craig on my 65 vent and quarter windows..... I've been checking around here and not finding anything convincing...... They want $180 per frame.
