We would need to see the before to really see if they are needed.......oh....you are talking about the car. I like the rear louvers and side louvers (not scoops). Rear louvers in metal only, plastic looks crappy real fast.

Metal rear louvers and lower side scoops, like in the top pic.
The upper scoops add a very interesting and different look to the car. I'd have to see a few different angles to be sure.
The bottom car also has some tasteful ground affects.
A scoop of some kind is a must for me. The one on the bottom is nice.
