BOSCH Electric oven fault

I own a Bosch HBN745AUC single oven. Today, my wife called me and told me that the over started beeping (interior light is on also) and displayed the following:

DO NOT USE OVEN CALL SERVICE

SLV EE CHIP / CKT BAD OR RTDS NOT CAL

Any help would be appreciated.

RTDS refers to the temperature sensor (common term for high temp sensors, we use them in our plants). So, I'd say you have a bad temp sensor or board. That's all I got, and a google didn't help me anymore than it did you - although I found your posts on appliance boards ;-).

Fixed it.

I called Bosch Service toll free # and spoke to them. They said I must contact their local authorized service repair company and I did so.

He told me that from the fault description I gave him and the fact that I could not do anything from the front panel that the display board has likely failed. He wanted 326.00+ plus installation for a replacement. I said thanks and proceeded to dig a bit.

I found Sears direct had it for 187.56. I ordered it, a replacement polarization filter (it's backordered and I didn't really need it) and express shipping, for a total of 257.xx

It arrived today, I followed the instructions to install and re-program it (will attach pdf of those instructions) and voila! It is back working.
