Boss 4.6 really.

Yeah, that just doesn't sound right.
I guess that's why Ford decided to wait for the new 5.0 to bring back the boss.

But the new Boss is not the Boss 5.0.....it is the Boss 302.

The Boss 4.6 might sound better if they used the Boss 281.....well.....no, that does not sound all that great either.

I know it's not the boss 5.0. I just meant that it was a 302. like you said boss 281 doesn't sound right either

No, and 45 years ago "Boss 289" wouldn't have had quite the right ring to it either.

But I have to respect the fact that what he's suggesting is under the hood is what you'd really expect to find there.

Same vendor did the stripe kit for my 08, I just opted for the solid stripe. It came with the Boss and 4.6 lettering.

As I said , this car was well done . Sluggo made the right choice in my opinion leaving the lettering in the package. This car would have been a 10 like sluggo's without the boss 4.6 lettering. That just makes it silly, in my opinion.
