Boy....That really sucked...

Just got our power back. It went out last Saturday at around 4:00 pm... First time we've lost it for more that a couple hours at a time. At least we had a fireplace to keep warm at night.
 
That sucks, been there...done that almost every winter! I have a generator that will power the necessities, but one of these days I'm going to get one of those whole house backup generators.

yeah, I think we need to put some serious thought into one too... I don't know what kind of coverage there's been, but I've never seen anything like the complete devastation that we had after the heavy wet snow we got. The leaves were still on the trees so that compounded the damage. Everywhere you go, there are trees on power lines... roads are blocked with downed trees... it's just unimaginable... or, it was
 
There was not mass looting, no one killed 19 kids in a schoolyard, didn't involve Michael Jackson or Jonny Depp, no Mayors screaming racism so it didn't warrant much media coverage---I am sure you are glad to have power back!

Ah so you did not see the football game Sunday afternoon. You did not miss much, the Steelers and pats traded uniforms before the game and it was the usual outcome. :nut
