I'm skimming through some older posts and noticing a lot of images that are missing that are not part of this site. I could use a little help fixing these issues so I can get busy on the the stuff that requires digging in the database. I have decided the risk is too high to simply copy the attachments and images from the old database. I'm going to do it the hard way. One by one.
If you click modify in your own posts you can see the original link. You can copy it and paste it in a new tab. Even though it appears broken here, if you paste the link in a new tab and it comes up, simply copy the URL from the browser and paste back into the post and it will work. Images that are no longer available get the following replacement image. Copy the code here and replace the entire line.

You can only modify your own posts and do not have to participate. Even if you just fix them as you run across them it will expedite the process.
