Bruchetta ground tri-tip Burger

A few weeks ago, we bought the meat grinder attachment for our Kitchenaid mixer. Well, yesterday it went to work.

I made Bruchetta gfround tri-tip burgers per this recipe.

And I've attached the pic of the one my wife ate.

Coupled with a mixed green salad and white corn on the cob, it was amazing.

Who would grind up the awesome cut of Tri-Tip....To me it is kinda like grinding up a perfectly good rib eye steak.

It does look very good though....

We haven't used our grinder attachment yet, but someday!

I wonder if a chuck roast would be good in that recipe?

I tried it as Trip-tip from Costco is a fine cut. Wanted to see how I could make a burger from it. The tri-tip was also lean, so I diced two pieces of bacon and threw them into the grinder with the tri-tip. So, I made tri-tip bacon loaded burgers. Can't get that with tri-tip alone!
