Busy motorsports weekend!

Decided to pull off the Trifecta this past weekend while on vacation in Fl. Left Ft. Myers at 8am sat morning and drove to the NMRA Spring break at the Bradenton Motorsports Park. Walked the car show, swap meet and watched tons of racing before heading out at 3pm and driving to Daytona for the Supercross race at the Daytona International Speedway. Racing finished up just after 10pm and I hopped back into the truck for the long drive back to Ft. Myers. Got in at 3am. Got up this morning and drove down to Naples for the Swamp Buggy races. Good times! In 36 hours, I drove 600 miles, attended 3 motorsports events and slept less than 5 hours.

Here is a link to pics and vids from the weekend. http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b136/RyanG85/FL%202010/

The guys from Two Guys garage were at the NMRA show with a couple of Factory Five kit cars that were pretty sweet.

Also eye witness the infamous Boiled peanuts at the Swamp Buggy races... No I did not try them.

Sounds like a great weekend, I had to work :sad Why did you not try the peanuts? (Not that I have ever tried boiled peanuts or ever heard of them)

Someone was eating them in front of me in the stands. Just the sight on them made my stomach curl... The bag left an oil spot that soaked into the wooden bleachers
