c4-Aod

The teeth count are the same, I was going to do an AOD swap but the kickdown linkage was just as much as the cable operated T5 setup, so i went that-a-way.

I have read of people shortening their C4 yoke by ~1" as the spline count is the same but when I looked at mine I noticed that the first half of the internal is not splined so you end up with 3/4"-1" less spline area engaged when compared to a T5 or AOD yoke. The T5 yoke is supposed to be the heavier duty of the 3 to choose from if you can pick one up, it is splined the entire length.

I shortened the yoke on the first AOD I swapped into a '66. Never had any problems and the 302 had around 275 hp. I would consider a different setup if the car has more hp planned.
