C4 Rebuild

In taking apart my C4 for rebuild, this part fell out somewhere. It is not shown in the Bad Shoe Video anywhere during disassembly or reassembly. Anyone know what this is and where it goes?

A stud that is pressed in the case ?
Where the low reverse or overdrive band is attached to ??
What failure does your C4 has ?

Ken Collins (Bad Shoe) said it is part of an after market shift kit. Torque converter anti ballooning valve. Said it is pretty much worthless and don't bother putting it back in. So, I didn't.
