C4 Vacuum Modulator Line Routing

Stopped by NPD and picked up a new vacuum line for my 65. I'm trying to figure out which way this thing should install. Anyone have a picture of the correct routing? I can MAKE it fit, but I thought I'd ask first. The original line is long gone, so I have no reference. Here are some pictures of what I have. Which is the correct orientation, view A or B?

View A looks close to what I remember....

The first pic of a looks correct except for the kink in the rubber hose. I would extend the metal line around until it was facing the modulator, to eliminate the potential kink. Then connect the line to the modulator via a small piece of rubber hose.

THanks for the help guys. I was leaning toward A as well, and looking at the pictures, I guess it should be obvious.
