I am renting a car for one day when i arrive in Chicago before i fly out to San Fran for the main part of my road trip.

I have booked a V8 Mustang GT Premium from the Hertz Adrenaline collection. For more or less the same money I could try the Chevy Camaro SS

Considering i am renting a convertible mustang(V6) for 3 weeks when i arrive in SF should i try the Camaro?

From my research the Camaro has 400hp in auto or 426hp in manual mode....and the mustang has about 300bhp?

Thoughts? or am i at risk of being banned from this forum? :roll

Just be careful what pictures you post...they could end up being your avatar......

Better not, unless you want to get FIRED.

If you need any tips, just send a PM to myself or Duane.

Wha? Me? ..................................oh yeah. Just make sure it doesn't have a rainbow, sucker, chicken, etc

ford, gm, chrysler - there all good cars, only tainted by peoples personal bias.
I say get one and give it a try with an open mind.
Its all about enjoying your holiday!!

and the fact that chrysler and gm both begged (and got) bailed out by the U.S. taxpayers because of bad business decisions.

And GMH in OZ is propping up GM in the USA through big profits.

And Ford in OZ just got 34mil from the federal government to help them out and turned around and killed the falcon wagon + 450 jobs.

My point is they are all as bad as each other, but i like the cars they are making, which are all good cars.

Get the SS. Just realize its a BIG car with no room inside.....good for a day though.

Depending on your plans...try a Gino's East pan pizza (633 N Wells St..north of downtown/east of State st or http://www.ginoseast.com/flash.html)...

or
get a Beef sandwhich or Chicago Dog (hot dog) at Portillos (many locations..http://www.portillos.com/portillos/)
:stu

+1 on ginos. It's my favorite pizza place in Chicago. :thu

And I say get the camaro, nothing wrong with trying it.
Except you might be disappointed with the v6 when you get to cali then.
