Campagnolo tool kit - ending tonight! Get out your wallet!

For those bikey's like me, me and me, here's a cool story. Last week a friend of mine who details fancy smancy cars came over to my work asking for some help. Apparently he is helping one of his customers sort through one of her late brother's rental storage lockers. They came across some bicycle related items such as Italian made Campagnolo brake sets, etc. But the big whahoo is when he mentioned a big tool kit. My ears, besides other things perked right up. I asked if the tool box was made of wood, but he said no, it was metal. Humph!

Nonetheless, I agreed to go over and meet his customer at the storage locker (about 3 miles from me) who let me in. Within a minute I found the Campy brakes, pedals, etc, but no tool box. But after moving some boxes around, my foot stopped against something hard. Moved a blanket and there it was. A Campagnolo complete frame making tool kit, in a wooden case.

Oh wow! I said to myself. Talking about digging up treasures. Since I use to own one of these kits back in the 70's which helped me make 3 framesets, I knew she had a couple bucks sitting here. I agreed to take all the bike related stuff home with the idea of putting it on ebay. After tons of research and consulting with a few fellow bikey boys, I put the tool kit on ebay which you can click on below. Here's a couple pics as well. What's amazing is that already there are 32 watchers on flea bay.

Bruno,
It doesn't belong to me. I'm selling it for the sister of the guy who passed away. Yes, I'm making a very nice commission.

Now if Tulio Campagnolo and Eddy Merckx instructed me to keep it, then I'd consider.......

Craig:

Blast from the past. Back in that time frame my sister's boyfriend was seriously into cycling and if I am not mistaken, some of those tools look vaguely familiar. At one point I remember he was drooling over a chrome plated Cinelli frame. I don't remember if her ever got one. I did buy one of his street bikes that I rode through college and I still have it. A Moulton 4 Speed. Remember those? Back in the day, Jocelyn's Midtown Bicycles in Palo Alto had parts.
