Can anyone think of a reason

that I shouldn't weld a real bolt to the rear valance bracket instead of using this POS?

Which didn't come with the nice rubber washer from Scott Drake.

Just make sure its at the right angle and go for it. If youre using a repop valance, you might want to think about welding the mounting bracket a little better. That whole set up on the repop stuff is flimsy!

If I remember right the bolt head goes through the keyhole and tab is supposed to lock it into the slot. It kept falling out on me so just tack welded the rectangular tab to the valence, but left the supplied bolt floating for alignment.

Hell, I can't even make the tab stay on the bolt.
Thanks, guys.
