Can this year finally be over!

I need a fresh start. Back in January, I was laid off after 15 years of service. Luckily, six months later I was reinstated and have since been back in the work force. Back in March, I lost my father, and now, on Halloween morning, I suddenly lose mom. I'm telling ya, this has been an awful year.

Mom, while I selfishly will miss you around here, I am glad to know that you are once again with the love of your life, Dad. Clearly your heart ached to be with him as you could only be apart for 7 months. I, along with everyone here you touched will miss you deeply, but, I think we understand. Godspeed Mom. Give Dad a big hug for me when he greets you.

My condolences on the passing of your Mother. Her and your Dad are together forever now. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Yes you are selfish. And rightfully so. Because they were YOUR parents. They were YOUR mom and dad. No one elses. I too lost my mother this year and I know what you are gong through. Very sad that you will no longer see her again but oh so happy that she had a full life with her love. Her husband and her children. That's what you need to remember.

I and alll of us here celebrate her life.
 
Sorry to hear of your loss Ron, my condolences to your family and you will be in my thoughts. Just that picture is comforting to me, perfect reflection of a happy couple. I hope 2014 will be a breath of fresh air for you.

Ron, so sorry to here about Mom, our prayers go out to you. If there is anything we can do please don't hesitate to ring us. I also feel this has been a lousy year I am looking forward to 2014.

Sorry to hear of you loss. My mother passed n 1986 and dad passed in 1955. Still miss them
 
I"m sorry, Ron, for your recent losses. May the future be brighter for you and your family.
 
This makes two notifications I have received today like this. My best friend's father also passed away this morning. This is the LAST thing I expected to hear. I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My only regret from MBB was not taking the chance to talk with her much. She was a fantastic person, as was your dad. You have my deepest sympathy my friend. I will miss both of your parents. If there is every anything I can do, you have my number and know I'm a phone call away.

You know how much your parents meant to me though I only met them once. That pic you provided with the crab bibs means so much to me. I am devastated to hear about your mom though I can only imagine how much happier she probably is being back with your dad.

Give Brenda a big hug for me and yes, we will be talking soon my friend.
