i should have asked about having it in a 70 model and seeing it in person.

Technically, it probably belongs in the interior board. It's fine here as well.

Looks like a pretty decent product. TMI makes good stuff. I expected something vulgar looking. I think they pulled it off pretty well.

Sure breaks up a bright red interior nicely

I like the two-tone look, just not the look of carbon fiber in a classic. When I think carbon fiber, I see Supras or Skylines.

+1 carbon fiber doesn't belong in a classic. Why? It doen't feel right for me .
IMHO its for the tuning world of the japs

ok so its doesnt have to be a 70, model i just want to see a picture that hasnt been taken to sell a product or a magazine....

You do realize that TMI (et al) will make custom colored seat covers of your choosing, right?

I had it done a few years ago. It was not cheap and it took a few months for them to get made, but it was still a LOT chaeper than using a local upholstery shop.

I called and got silver samples from them the other day. One of them was a carbon fiber silver sample. It looks nice, but I wouldn't want it in my classic car. They also sent me a brushed aluminum looking silver sample. I thought that would look good as an insert with the 66 dark red pony seats.

I oughta call them. I've been pondering the silver carbon fiber for the inner portion of two tone door panels. Outer would be black, but I want something to break it up. Didn't know they'd send samples. I'm leery of the "Carbon Fiber Look" thing though.
