carrier bearing

my 72 Chebbie is used and abused but has been a pretty good old truck. However, I hope when I fix things, I only have to do it once! I replaced the worn carrier bearing about a year ago only to have it fail again. My guess, cheap Chinese parts

Look into a 1 piece drives haft. Always hated the older Chevy carrier bearing design.

yeah, Jerry showed me a cool option but it was almost $1000!!! more than the truck is worth!

Im sure there is a cheaper jy option. Been a few years since I was in that scene with those trucks but I remember a cheap option I was exploring.

probably is a better option, this part was under $20 so you get what you pay for!

True. I've just never liked a carrier bearing on anything other than a big truck. Just another failure point.
