My club chose a little girl named Shelby who received a liver transplant on July 3 as our annual "charity." We called the project RESTORE SHELBY.
We presented her parents with a contribution at the awards banquet of our annual car show in August.
Additionally, we asked the Shelby Foundation to match what we raised, or a portion of it.
I am thrilled to inform everyone that the Carroll Shelby Foundation has sent us a $4000 check for our RESTORE SHELBY.
Our club is a non-profit organization so when our books are cleared at the end of the year we will be supplementing the foundation check.
My heart is full. I am so happy this family after a very challenging year might have a nicer Christmas due to the generosity of many Mustang enthusiasts.
