Celebrating a Career

next weekend, I am headed to Tucson to celebrate my cousin's tenure with the Air Guard. He started in JROTC in high school and I have always had the highest regard for his dedication and service to our Country. He's retiring as a Lt. Colonel and that is quite the accomplishment.

Just thought I'd share to show he did good. I know he had to give up many things for duty and I admire that... humbled once again.

Tell him thanks for me please!

Absolutely! Several years ago, he went on a deployment to Panama. He got to ride back seat in a A-7. First thing they did was pull 5g's or so n made him puke. Kind of like the Polly wags n shell backs....

Looky here I found a pic on the internet of one of the birds from my time at England AFB LA. That would be an A7D.

Congrats. I have a niece who was/is a party girl and entered the ILL Air Guard many years ago while in college. She went full time then transferred to the AF. Now she is a Lt.Colonel also. Works at the Pentagon. So many work for us with no thanks....so Thank You.
