Knocked a few things off the honey do list the past couple days. Finished staining our deck. Which has been an ongoing project for at least a year.

Replaced the brick mold trim around the garage with new pvc stuff. No more rotting and painting.

Finally put the wall mount up for our tv we bought in march.

And painted our master bathroom and walk in closet. That ones craig's fault. I showed the wife his bathroom remodel thread. And of course that lead to other projects getting added to the list.

Now maybe I can finally get some garage time and get the rusty beast running again.

The deck was the biggest pain. When we built our house we went a little crazy on the deck. It's over 800 Sq ft. Pressure washing, then some sanding and staining. All the spindles took forever. I should have sprayed it. This is the 3rd time we've redone it in 10 years.

jen wants to paint the kitchen and do faux granite countertop painting like craig did in his bathroom next . Which will of course lead to tearing out the countertops and putting in real granite. She's on her own for that one.

I wish my yard had anywhere near that much green! Beautifull deck! I was going to ask if you sprayed it--I read your reply, I just last month put a wall mount tv in our bedroom, I really like it---got rid of the tv on top of my dresser. I have a wooden rail on the back patio/landing that needs stained really bad, I am seriously thinking about replacing it with the composite stuff--it is not real big so it should not bankrupt me---your deck in composite I bet would be scary $$$--it looks great like it is right now-- if it would only last 20 years!

We have gotten a good amount of rain lately and the lawn is just starting to come back.

We looked into doing composite for the deck. It was scary $$$. Decided to stick with cedar.

I intentionally killed that area. We are cutting it out and extending the stone from under the deck and adding flagstone pavers there. Easier to mow.

mine too... haven't done anything to the deck since before the fire so almost two years now. between all the surgeries & the rebuild, just haven't had time to do it. will have to get it pressure washed & done before winter for sure.
