Christmas decorations too early

Why do people feel the need to put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. It doesn't make the damn holiday come sooner and it surely must annoy some of your neighbors.

Seriously people... it's lame to see one string of lights up. If you feel some nagging need to display your Christmas $hit before Thanksgiving....at least make it decent looking.

:rant

Ok I feel better. Carry on.

Hats off to those who put them up early. That means they take them down!

put mine up yesterday, but i had to take advantage of a decent day before the sucky weather gets here. So :stfu

My neighbor put his lights up last weekend, but hasn't powered them up yet.

SWMBO will spend all Friday decorating the house...time for me to move out to the Garage Majal for a month. She plays those awful Xmas carol CD's (Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, etc.) all day long. Ugh.

Bah Humbug!

I put mine up last weekend. Why? :shrug It was 55* - will be in the teens this weekend..... :rant

Now, I haven't turned them ON other than a 5 minute test lighting, and won't until after Thanksgiving. I have several neighbors that have had theirs on this week, and I agree, that's lame...

SWMBO always has the inside of the house decorated before Thanksgiving. As far as the outside goes, I gave in this year. I usually don't put anything up but got tired of hearing I should. I snapped a pic for everyone to enjoy.
