Sorry about that Rusty. We lost the wife's g-mother the day before Thanksgiving and I've had 5 friends lose grandparents/uncles in the past two weeks. It's wierd how you hear so much about it this time of year. Good luck to the family and we'll keep you in our prayers.

She was 92 and her mind was somewhat gone most days so really it was time. I am pretty sure I don't care to live to be that old. When you don't remember who people are that you've known for years (like my 40 year old sister you used to sit every day as a baby and who lived with you for a couple of semesters in college for example) and all your friends / relatives you grew up with are gone it's probably time to move on.
My grandfather passed away in '84 so now they can be together again.
Guess I am all out of grandparents now. My other grandmother died a couple of years ago at the ripe old age of 88.

Man losing someone this time of year is tough. My father died Dec 20 quite a few years ago, so I can feel for ya-

Nice job! I think my wife is more into the decorating than my kids. I know most holidays focus on the marketing but it is or has been a time for family.
Speaking of family, sorry to hear about your Grandma Rusty. My wife lost both her's last year. One two weeks before Christmas and the other right after. We had to do two funerals, one in Chicago and the other in Arkansas. Takes the joy out of the season but we did all feel a little closer dealing with the loss.
