For the last 6 years, The X-Factor (American Idol type crap) winner's song goes to Number One in this country.
Last year there was a massive online campaign that saw Killing in the name by Rage Against the Machine get the No.1 spot instead. They did it in Britain but not here in Irealand.
It was funny because RATMN went on British National Radio to do a live version of the song and were asked specifically not to sing the line "fuck you i wont do what you tell me"...funny enough they did sing it.....the irony of it has be in knots.
Anyways this years X-Factor winning track has been released.

And here is the Anit X-Factor Campaign song by Rubberbandits....So far the race is neck and neck and they have been swapping the No. 1 spot for the last few days. I suppose rubberbandits would be a bit like the show Trailer park boys over there in the US.
