Just ordered the Classic Air Perfect Fit system for my '66 Coupe. $1384.65 shipped to me. We in Fl. and Tx. have to pay tax since they have locations here. The rep did give me $20.00 (was $1404.64) off the shipping when I mentioned being retired Air Force. I joked about some discount for old age, military or something. He says how about a discount on shipping? Real good to deal with.
I took several weeks of calls to decide on the unit. One of the big reasons is that the Classic Air system is completely serviceable at the end user level. Other brands have the case glued together and must be returned to the company for service. Lots of good recommendations on line for the Classic unit too.
If all goes as planned....it will be installed on Labor Day weekend....and finished with a Wattles toast.
Getting A/C in time for winter....gotta love it.
