Classic Number Plates

Hi all

I'm looking to order a pair of classic number plates from the US (Michigan 1965), just to fit on my car for car shows.

Can anyone recommend a good place to find these?

I've found several websites online but any good and reliable ones you guys might know of would be helpful.

Also, since I'm not from around there, the Michigan 65 plates I've found all have different county codes. My car was built in Dearborn, Michigan which is in Wayne County, so I would like to ask if anyone can help me with the county code I need to find, I'm having some difficulty locating this info through my online searches.

Looks like AA - FZ as the first letters would be for Wayne County.

Do you really want a pair, or just one for the front? A single plate is much easier to find, and cheaper.

Quick search found this place. They have quite a few 65 plates for Wayne county.

I've got some Mi '65 plates. Not sure about the Wayne County thing, AA-FZ...will look.

Thanks all, what's the difference between the plates that start with letters then numbers and the plates that start with numbers then letters?

The letters at the end might be commercial (truck) plates.

Yes I was originally looking for something from Dearborn, Michigan but was unable to find any letters or numbering that related to me, so I said I'll just custom order one. Yes Betty is the car.
