Clutch Guidance

Been quite a while since I bought a clutch. Need one for the 65 project. Looking at a RAM 88794HDX. Running behind a stout little 302 so won't see crazy power numbers. Mostly just some spirited street driving at worse.

Anyone have experience with RAM clutches? Opinions? Suggestions?

Can't see why it won't work. Looks a lot like my Centerforce Dual Friction I ran behind the 289. I have a Zoom clutch kit behind the 302 now that works fine. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/zzz-mu48-1

No experience with Ram clutches.

Centerforce I will suffice for most 289/302 motors. I used one for years on a '66 GT350 equipped with a vintage Paxton. No troubles at all. Previously I had put a Centerforce dual friction in the same car. A great clutch, but overkill for anything under 400HP & not being used on the dragstrip.
