Composting bins

All,

I am in the market for a composting bin. Any recommendations? I like the look of the barrel type but am oblivious on how hard they are to operate, etc.

Any steering input would be appreciated.

Here at my house, it's called a clothes hamper for by the time we finally get to the bottom of it, the radiation coming out could make anything grow. Hopefully I have steered this post in the right direction.

Now this probably wouldn't work out west with you sivellized folk but here near hooterville we do things a little different--when I have fish innerds to dispose of I take them out in the middle of open fields around me, the turkey vultures usually find them within an hour(pretty amazing) if they leave anything the opposums and racoons drag it off by morning. Mother nature is pretty efficient about disposal.

No need for a bin. You can use a garbage can, laundry basket, whatever. Get something with a locking lid, then you can just roll it around to mix it.
