I noticed that 70_Fastback's progress on the RatRod was missing the past couple of weeks, and vaguely remembered he was getting married soon. I found the post that indicated he was looking for a get-together in Florida on his Honeymoon Cruise, and sure enough, it was this past week. So...putting one and one together, I believe now they are a couple.

Congrats, Bonnie and Jeremy! Long may you enjoy your lives together!

Now then...where are the pictures of the wedding? :rulz

You are soooo not going to believe this... :part

We f*cked up BIG time. We didn't know you can only get a marriage license on certain days in Florida. And we were not THERE on those said days. So we couldn't get a marriage license. Talk about a cluster f*ck & crazy emotions... :wth

But, honestly... it kind of turned out to be a blessing in disguise. First... to get married there it was going to run about $1600 bucks for a ceremony -- that's it, a ceremony. And come to find out the ship we cruised on was built in 1993... and still looked exactly like it. Bonnie said no way in hell would she want neon lights in our wedding photographs! It was bad. Really.

So, it just ended up being a vacation and that's it. She says she is not that upset about it, but I think she is. I am too.

So it's back to replanning another wedding endeavor. :roul

But thanks for the thoughts and wellwishes everyone.

J, you're more than welcome to have the ceremony out in my pasture. I'll even put up a picnic table by the pond to sit the cake on!

Wait a minute, you took her to get married and couldn't even get that right?!?!?! WTH? Maybe the title of this thread should be "Congrats Bonnie".

There is a part of me that wants to say, "Sorry to hear about your troubles" but the "WTH" keeps getting in the way. Anyway, sorry for your troubles but WTH?

More proof that marriage is nothing but trouble from the beginning! :nut j/k

I say as long as that special day happens, it would be perfect no matter where it takes place. As long as you know you're going to spend the rest of your life with the person you love...that's what matters. :thu

See? Had you stayed with your original plans to get married here in California, you could have been home by now making new babies...................

..............More Jeremy's? :puk
