I think it is an old lincoln model that uses a 7 1/2" bottle. It's big and so big that I think I can put a small plasma cutter with it and still room for more stuff. Two levels - 24"x36" and nothing else so I'm looking for odds and ends to weld to it before I begin using it on "STUFF". So I'm looking for your "great ideas" on your cart that I can use for mine. I was think of a tray to add, hooks for the trigger cables and maybe a grinder holder.

Correct measurements:
Each tray measures: 21" wide x 28" deep, 18.25" in height between upper and lower tray
Overall length: 47", overall handle height: 36"

Will hold the large-size, 300 CF gas bottle

Here it is

The mods you have in mind are all useful. A bit of advice though. If you add anything to the side (notably the side of your welder that has the lid for wire access), make sure your addition(s) are low enough to allow the door to open easily. I bought a cart from Harbor Freight (the same one Eastwood offers), because I found it on sale. I was going to build one and have done so in the past (it wasn't my machine though). I found that the hooks on the door side of the cart I bought were just high enough to catch on the bottom of the door when you opened it. I solved this by bending them down slightly, but it was a valuable lesson learned! BTW, on the cart I built I had placed the hooks for the gun and ground cable on the side of each front support leg where they wouldn't interfere with anything on the machine.

BTW, if my cart is a typical example, I've accumulated a bunch of stuff on my cart. Notably a bunch of locking and "C" clamps. A simple rack somewhere to hang them off of is pretty useful. Somewhere to store your gloves and a hook for your helmet are also useful additions.

It was nothing like no scratches, used once model and came with extra tips and the crisp manuel to boot. Good guy as well. I'm off to design a santa maria grill with the purchases and trying to decide on a theme - mustang theme that is.

Okay, I'm now officially jealous! I asked the wife to get me a 375 last year for Christmas. Didn't get one! When the tax return came in she told me she put enough in my account to buy one. I needed a bunch of stuff for the coupe at the time. Had to spend the money there. STILL didn't get one. One of the days......

Cart is done for now. Miller theme. I just have to wait for the durabak to dry - black- then I will install the stuff
