Super unhappy with the repro parking brake handle assembly I picked up from CJPP.
Busted my parking brake cable two weeks ago, figured I'd replace the extremely worn and rusty original handle assembly while I was at it.
Had the new handle ready to bolt in when I figured out that the end that bolts to the firewall was welded on in the incorrect position, which causes the roller wheel to be misaligned with the path of the cable. The result is that the wheel would shred the cable in short order.
Packed it up, put it back in the box, and I'm going to shoot them an email when I get a chance to see about replacing it.
In the meantime, I bolted the old unit up and am just dealing with the rusty action and completely busted handle. At least it works...
