Crush Washers

I was hoping to finish the brakes on my '65 today, however the banjo bolt copper crush washers are leaking. I've tried 3 different sets of copper washers...all leak at the washer touching the caliper. Bolt side washer is okay. These are PBR calipers. My rear brakes have aluminum crush washers and seal just fine. I think I'm going to order more aluminum washers to try on the fronts. Anyone else have this issue or prefer one soft metal over another?

Seems I've had trouble with some ''copper" washers. I would say they are too hard and do not crush if that makes sense. They do not seal.

I finally got those MoFo's to seal. The aluminum washers leaked too, so I used a giant copper one on the caliper side and an aluminum one on the hose side. Sealed right up. Good thing too, because I was about to start throwing things. :)

I used the copper washers designed for the 8 and 9" rear end bolts for the brakes: didn't have any problems.
