Current Problems with 73 Mach 1, 351 Cleveland

Alright, so I got a Unilite Ignition Module Ordered for the car.
My clutch is still stuck to the floor. But I looked underneath the car, and found that I have all of my linkages. The clutch will come up a couple inches like I've said before. So im guessing my clutch is just plain stuck. So I searched on Google and found this.

HOW TO FREE UP A STUCK CLUTCH

Plan A: If your car is pointed so you can lurch forward without hitting
some object.

Step 1. Start engine in neutral and let it warm up thoroughly.
Step 2. shut the car off and restart it with the car in first gear
and your foot on the clutch pedal.
Step 3. Keep clutch depressed with left foot and blip the accelerator
with right foot.
Step 4. Repeat as often as necessary to free up the clutch and then go
for a drive. Let the clutch slip, so you can burn off teh stuff on your
clutch disc.

Plan B: If your car is in the garage, pointing at a brick wall.

Step 1. Secure the car, so it can't roll forward and hit that wall.
Jack up the rear of the car (use the differential "pumpkin" as the jacking
point). support the car so that the rear wheels are up in the air and can
spin freely.
Step 2. Start the engine in neutral and let it warm up thoroughly.
Step 3. Shut off the engine, put transmission in either 3rd or 4th gear.
Step 4. Start the car again with your foot depressing the clutch pedal.
Step 5. rev the engine and hit the brakes.
Step 6. Repeat as often as necessary to free up the clutch and then go for
a drive. Let the clutch slip, so you can burn off the stuff on your clutch
disc.

Are these safe/smart things to do? And will they work?

These actions are for clutch pressure plate that will not release from the clutch disk. Your problem is that the retracting spring is broken, the clutch pressure plate springs are broken, your linkage is bound up, or your under-the-dash return assistant spring is broken.

Is the retracting spring the one on the linkage coming from the bellhousing? Because that spring is there. How do I know if the linkage is bound up?

Yes...that spring helps keep the throwout bearing from riding on the pressure plate.

Well, another problem is that your throwout bearing is frozen on the transmission shaft.

Can you lift the pedal further up off the floor? Can you push it down and how far does it come back on its own? To see bound linkage, you'll need to see how the mechanisms under the hood react as you move the pedal. Are they free to move?

Yes I can pull the pedal back up into normal position and it will stay up, its just when pushed back down it will go to the floor, and then come up about 2 or 3 inches.
