Deep Fried Tukey injection recommendations

All,

I bought an injector (needle) and wish to use it this year when we deep fry a turkey for Christmas Eve dinner with the family.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

(I have deep fried for several years in the past but only have rubbbed spices on the bird).

I personally have never done one but it should be based on the same principle as brining a bird and the concept of the sodium/potassium transfer in muscle. Muscle opens its cellular doors when you have the key... Salt It will carry in the flavor since doors are open.

Spices, salt sugar apple juice and boil the liquid then add the salt and sugar. Once it is done cool the liquid and begin the injection. I would personally use whatever you like or like on the outside/rub.
