Definition of "General Mustang Discussion"

After reviewing the different posts seen in this board, I question if we are using this board too much as a general dump, talking about so many issues other than Mustang related.

To me, if it is "General Mustang" then it would be a catch all or dump all for all other Mustang related issues that do not fit into the parameters of all other Mustang related boards such as engine, electrical, suspension, etc.

Talking about the gallery and other non Mustang related topics such as the layout of this forum,should to me, go into gum flappers.

Am I way off base on this?

Similar are posts from members who have discovered this forum. It is not "mustang related" so where should they post their topics about this forum vs the other forum?

I'm just bringing up this issue to help understand the definition of "General Mustang Discussion". If I am way off base that that the majority agree that what we are currently seeing in "General Mustang Discussion" is accepted, then so be it. Just want to understand it's parameters.

Seriously, I think a lot of misc posts are in General Mustang simply cause it's the first one on the list. Maybe if the page was inverted so Gum Flappers was near the top, it might help.

Where's that pic of an open can of worms?

I think Craig has a point. Point in case, my most recent thread about the blasting should have been in the Paint and Body section. As for everyone introducing themselves in this section, I like the idea on having gumflappers closer to the top so folks see it. Just my .02.

After I hit the Post button, I realized something. I just agreed with Craig.... :craz
 
Leave it alone for crying out loud. If I wanted to have to worry about doing everything the "right way" I'd get off this computer and listen to my wife.

If you're happy with your tranny, who am I to say anything about it. Maybe if you didn't go out and find a tranny you wouldn't have to get a new shaft. But, it's none of my business.
