disc / disc proportioning valve

Greetings, I have a 65 fastback with a 9" Grenada with disc brakes and stock Mustang front disc. I have a dual master with vacuum and I need buy the proper valve setup. What should I buy, approx. how much $ and where can I order it? Thanks

There are many ways / parts to do this... I went the following route and i`m absolutely happy with it. My setup on my 65 Coupe is 9" Versailles Rear with disc, front Granada disc brakes and also a booster .

I used the following part as a distribution block, it has NO valve for the rear circuit in it.

Then for the brake line which goes to the rear i installed a single proportioning valve, for example:

What you get:

* Full brake pressure on front Brakes
* Delightly and easy adjustable brake pressure on the rear - try the first moments on the roads softly as the car will lock the rear if you have too much brake pressure on the rear. Especially when doing hard braking next on a corner.
* Brake front or rear failure safety switch is in the distributor block included!

Hope this helps,
Greets Mario

Mario, Thanks for the quick response. I didn't want to guess and buy a few parts and find later out I had the wrong stuff so I'll give your suggestion a try. I plan on replacing all of the brake lines as they are old and probably full of junk. I have the Eastwood flaring setup and plenty of brake line material to play with to finish the job More questions later for sure.. Thanks again, Ted
